A fun experiment in digital VR puppetry.
The concept we investigated here was to have a puppeteer perform a virtual VR character to an audience, live in real time VR.
Last rig in Unity3D. We worked with ex-Henson’s puppeteer Ian Tregonning. Set up a virtual mirror so performers can see their own performance … can also switch between different vantage points (Eg POV, marionette, audience).
